Visual Language: the Heart of Cross - Cultural Understanding
Visual Language: the Heart of Cross-Cultural Understanding' is aimed to give students a unique experience. This program aims to offer international students and Australian participants a global perspective of cross-cultural understanding. Furthermore, this event aims to provide opportunities for individuals from different cultural backgrounds to share their traditions with the Coorong Ngarrindjeri community thereby strengthening community commitment, enhancing community participation and developing mutual respect. Visual language presentation is intertwined with culture and tradition. A better understanding of information continuity and by working side by side with Indigenous Knowledge and science means that we can move forward to a better future and meet the needs of our future generations. This workshop is significantly beneficial to students by establishing cross-cultural study exchange, and uniting students worldwide through hands on training.Cost: $595.00

Come hear Melbourne's oustanding chamber choir, Ensemble Gombert directed by John O'Donnell, present "School of Palestrina. OzAsia Festival 2010
Adelaide Festival Centre’s annual OzAsia Festival celebrates the richness and diversity of our Australian and Asian culture and presents works from Australians who identify with an Asian heritage, collaborative work between Australian and Asian artists and a diversity of contemporary and traditional cultural experiences from Asia. It is the only event of its kind in Australia.
Each year, the two week event features cross-cultural theatre, dance and music performances, visual arts exhibitions, films, food events, workshops and the Moon Lantern Festival - a free family event on the banks the River Torrens where visitors can enjoy multicultural performances, sample a variety of Asian cuisine and goods at the market stalls, try out different workshops and see the spectacular lantern parade light up Elder Park at dusk.

Air New Zealand Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival
18th Air New Zealand Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival will be held in Sydney from 26 September to 3 October 2010.
Organisers expect over 200 teams from 18 nations to attend the week long Festival that will be based at the Centennial Parklands near the Sydney central business district.
The Air New Zealand Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival is held every two years and players must be over 35 years in age with no maximum age limit.
It’s a celebration of fun, friendship and fraternity where no scores are kept and there are no losers.
The festival includes opening with a traditional parade of participants and floats from Town Hall to the Entertainment Centre. A business expo, a visit to the Hunter Valley vineyards and other social functions will be held in association with the festival.
